Optus Cable Network hits High Speed |

Optus announced today a speed upgrade on its Optus Cable Network. New and existing customers on the MyHome Broadband Cable and Optus ‘yes’ Fusion Cable plans accessing the network in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane will be able to enjoy speeds of up to 20Mbps^.
"This upgrade means that even customers in Brisbane on the Optus Cable network will now be able to access faster speeds than what has previously been available," Michael Smith, Group Marketing Director, Optus Consumer said.
"Optus now offers the same speeds on both its Cable and DSL Direct service making broadband a simpler and faster internet option for customers.
"Optus is not charging its customers a premium to receive this additional speed with existing and new customers experiencing the upgrade automatically.
"The faster speeds available on the Optus Cable Network will make internet browsing, streaming music and video and email use much faster," Mr Smith said.
Another example of Optus bringing choice and competition to Australian consumers.
Optus Broadband delivers super fast speeds of up to 20Mbps^ for customers connected to the DSL Direct network and Optus Cable network. Optus Cable Broadband is available in Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne in selected residential homes. |
